What I'm About.
What I'm About.

I was twelve when Unreal Tournament blew my mind.
Not the game itself, but the realization sitting underneath it: every texture, every character, every weapon was made from someone’s imagination.
I stopped wanting to play games and started making them.

It didn't take long before that wonder turned into an ambitious hunger, and mastery of game development became the only future I dreamt of.
Winning a uni scholarship and building the world's first VR music visualizer felt like I would finally pay it off…

Except the achievement didn't feel like anything.
The finish line just moved.

I’ve since climbed my career ladder high enough to see the whole track, I’ve realized it wasn't just me chasing the horizon, the entire industry is.
I noticed a lot of developers stopped caring whether things are beautiful and enjoyable to play; and only care whether their work is fast and profitable.
Over the past few decades, the industry has swapped its scoring criteria, and almost nobody even noticed the swap.

But here's the thing: The players can tell.
But here's the thing: The players can tell.
But here's the thing: The players can tell.
They can tell when something got rushed, when a deadline won an argument in a hidden board room, and when “good enough” took priority.
They can also tell, just as fast, when someone couldn't stop themselves from getting it right.
Etherion Designs exists to make that second thing.
The kind of thing that would've blown my mind at twelve, long before I was aware of the race.
I built this studio because I want to bring beauty to great games, because I believe that excellence is a decision, not a deadline.

Etherion Designs
My approach to game art is simple: I first define the problem the project is aiming to solve. I then design a custom pipeline based on functionality, speed, and flexibility. Each project will have targeted milestones in which adjustments can be made within the scope of the project.
I don’t overpromise or use flashy marketing language. I simply build well-designed, functional strategies that aids in successful project completion.
